RAW — Terms of Use
Version 2 · 18 October 2026
These are the terms for using RAW — the app, its account and cloud backup, RAW PRO — and the getraw.fit website. They say only what is true today. Every change is versioned and dated. What happens to your data is explained in the privacy policy; it is not repeated here.
In one sentence
RAW is a tool for logging your strength training, with an account that keeps a copy of it in the cloud: it is not medical advice, and what you log is yours.
Who is behind it
RAW is a Fabrica Studio project, developed by Randy Esperben in Spain. When these terms say “we” or “us”, they mean him. Fabrica Studio, Barcelona (Spain): fabrica.studio.
Accepting them
You accept them at the end of setup, together with the privacy policy, by tapping «Continue with Google», «Continue with Apple» or «Continue with email»; the sentence above the buttons says so. With that same tap you confirm that you are 16 or over: the minimum age is part of these terms. If you are under 16, do not use RAW.
Settings › Privacy shows when you accepted them. Withdrawing your acceptance means deleting your account (see «Signing out and deleting your account»). If you do not agree with these terms, do not use RAW.
What RAW is
An app for logging your strength training: workouts, sets, weights, reps and rest; routines and templates; your records and your history; and, if you want, your body measurements and progress photos.
It needs an account, and a connection once, to open it. After that it works offline, and backs up what you log when it has a connection.
The website explains what the app does and offers calculators and an exercise library, free and without signing up.
Your account
- One account per person, opened with Google, Apple (on an iPhone) or your email (a one-time link, no password). Keep access to that Google or Apple account, or to that email: it is how you get back into RAW. Do not let anyone else use your account.
- One phone writes at a time. The phone you signed in on last is the one that backs up. If you sign in on another phone, that one takes over: the first one stops backing up and asks you to sign in again, and changes it made to existing entries after that are not backed up.
- If your session ends (for example, it expires), RAW keeps working on the phone, the backup pauses, and RAW asks you to sign in again.
What it is not: medical advice
RAW is not a medical or personal-training service. It does not diagnose, it does not tell you whether an exercise is safe for you, and it does not replace a doctor, a physiotherapist or a qualified coach.
- Training carries risks. You can get injured lifting weights, and with some conditions the risk is higher. What you train, with what weight and how is your decision. Start easy, learn the technique with light weights, and stop if you feel chest pain, dizziness, unusual shortness of breath or unusual tiredness.
- If you have doubts about your health, ask a doctor before you start.
- Templates and calculations are guidance: the recommended template and how it adapts to your equipment and your age, records, estimated 1RM, warm-up sets, plates per side and the website’s calculators. They come from published studies and general formulas — the sources are on the science page — not from knowing you. Adjust them to how you feel.
Your permission to use RAW
We give you permission to use RAW for your personal, non-commercial use, on the phones you own: the free part for free, and RAW PRO if you buy it. The permission is yours: you cannot transfer or sell it.
If you download RAW from the App Store or Google Play, the download is also governed by that store’s terms. Apple and Google are not party to these terms and are not responsible for RAW or its support.
Your data is yours
What you log in RAW — your workouts, your routines, the exercises you create, your notes, your measurements and your photos — is yours. We acquire no rights over it. To give you the backup we keep a copy of it on a server in the EU, and you allow us to store, copy and process that copy only to provide RAW to you: keep it, give it back to you on another phone, and delete it when you ask. We do not sell it and do not use it for advertising. Health data goes into the copy only while you allow it, as the privacy policy explains.
What the backup does not cover: a workout until you finish it, and anything the phone had not backed up yet — entries or photos — when it was lost, reset or uninstalled. To keep a copy of your own: Settings › Data › Export my data. Exporting is free and will stay free.
Signing out and deleting your account
- Signing out deletes everything RAW keeps on the phone. Your backup stays on the server, and you get it back by signing in again. If some changes could not be backed up yet, RAW tells you before and asks you to confirm; once you confirm, they are lost.
- Deleting your account (Settings › Account › Delete account), after two confirmations (in the second you type DELETE), deletes your photos, your backup and your account at once, and then empties the phone. It cannot be undone. Without the app, ask for it at privacy@getraw.fit from your account’s email (Deleting your data).
- Deleting your account does not cancel a RAW PRO subscription: you cancel it in the App Store or Google Play. RAW reminds you of this when you delete the account with RAW PRO active.
What is ours, and what belongs to others
The app, its design and its code, the RAW name and logo, its texts, the templates and the exercise catalogue as it appears in the app are ours, or used by us under licence.
Some pieces belong to third parties and remain under their own licences: the typefaces and some of the icons are openly licensed, and the exercise database the catalogue started from is in the public domain. If exercise animations arrive, they will come from a provider that licenses them to us: you can watch them in the app, but not download or extract them.
Acceptable use
Use RAW for what it is for. In particular, you may not:
- copy, sell, rent or redistribute the app, or publish it as your own;
- extract the catalogue, templates, images or animations to use them in another product, or to train artificial intelligence models;
- decompile or modify it, except as far as the law allows you to;
- get around its protections; use another person’s account or try to reach data that is not yours; or overload or attack RAW’s servers or getraw.fit, including by automated access outside the app;
- use it for anything unlawful.
Price and RAW PRO
Logging your training, the backup and exporting are free.
RAW PRO is the paid part of RAW, where your version of the app offers it. What it includes, and its price, are shown in the app before you pay.
- You buy it in the App Store or Google Play, under their terms and with the account you use there. They take the payment and handle invoices, cancellations and refunds.
- A subscription renews on its own until you cancel it in that store; it stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
- It is linked to your RAW account: sign in on another phone and RAW PRO comes with you (from the same store; «Restore purchases» if needed).
- Your right of withdrawal as a consumer in the EU (14 days) goes through the store you bought from, with its own cancellation and refund flow. The store’s rules never take away what the law gives you.
If a price changes, the store tells you before it applies to a subscription you have, under its rules.
As is, and what the law does not let us take away
We build RAW with care, but we give it to you as it is, with no warranties beyond those the law imposes: we do not promise that it is free of bugs, that it works on every phone, that the server will always be available, or that a calculation is exact for you. We may change it, add or remove features, or stop publishing it.
If we ever stop the cloud backup or close RAW, we will tell you by email at least 30 days before, so you can export your data; what is on your phone stays there.
We are not responsible for how you train or for the decisions you make with what RAW shows you, nor for changes lost because they had not been backed up yet (for example, after a takeover by another phone, or a phone lost before it had a connection).
Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law gives you as a consumer, or any liability the law does not allow us to exclude, such as liability for wilful misconduct, gross negligence or harm to your health caused by our fault.
Changes to these terms
Each version is dated and kept, and published on getraw.fit. We change these terms only when RAW, the law or the services RAW relies on change. RAW does not stop you with a screen to accept a new version: if a change matters to you, we will tell you by email at least 30 days before it applies, and if you do not agree with it, you can delete your account before then. A change in how your health data is used will ask for your consent again where the law requires it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection given to you by the law of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim before the courts where you live.

Versions
This is version 2. It replaces version 1, of 27 September 2026, which described RAW with no account, no sync and no payments. What changed:
- An account is now required, opened with Google, Apple or your email, and accepting these terms is the tap on «Continue with…» at the end of setup, no longer the first screen. Withdrawing the acceptance means deleting the account.
- The minimum age of 16 is now part of these terms.
- What you log is backed up on a server in the EU, and these terms say what we may do with that copy (only provide RAW to you) and what the backup does not cover. Version 1 said your data stayed on your phone.
- New: one phone writes at a time; signing out and deleting your account; RAW PRO, bought in the stores; acceptable use now covers accounts and servers; 30 days’ notice by email if we stop the backup or close RAW.
- Changes to these terms are now announced by email 30 days before when they matter, and no longer accepted again inside the app.
- The health questionnaire at the end of setup is gone.
